POSITIVE Engineering Model parts have been manufactured with success in February 2024 at our supplier INM Partner Ltd. Manufacturing technology have been tested and the full Engineering Model have been assembled using the old FOCUS Experiment Container parts and additional 3D printed components at ADMATIS cleanroom facility.
The main purpose of the Engineering Model is to gather all technological information regarding manufacturing and assembly before moving on to the qualification models and the flight hardware. Secondary goal is to test the concept of operations and safety requirements during experiment execution.
